On Monday, April 18, 2016 from 3 p.m., the Sechseläuten parade will continue. The procession of the guilds to the fire with 3,500 people, 350 riders, 50 horse-drawn wagons and 30 music corps. The move starts in the lower Bahnhofstrasse and ends at Sechseläutenplatz, where the stake is.
The stake is lit at 6 p.m. and the countdown to spring begins. The shorter it takes for the “Böögg” to explode at the stake, the better the summer will be.
